Need to cancel your trip?

At Nomadz Trips, we know travel plans are not always set in stone. If your plans shift, contact us as soon as possible so we can review the options available for your booking.

  • More than 60 days before departure: you may move your trip date or destination with no penalty, and any amount paid will be transferred as a credit toward a new group or private trip.

  • Less than 60 days before departure: we cannot offer refunds, but we will apply what you have paid toward another trip whenever supplier terms allow. For private trips, extra costs may apply if non-refundable accommodations or activities have already been booked.

All cancellation requests must be submitted by email. We do not process cancellations by phone, text, or social media because written requests help us document and confirm changes accurately.

Cancellation fees and future credits

Deposits and payments made toward your trip are non-refundable. When possible, Nomadz offers flexible credit options so travelers can move their balance to a future trip instead of losing the full amount.

  • 30 to 60 days before departure: half of the payments made after the deposit can be applied as a future trip credit. The remaining 50% is retained as a cancellation fee.

  • Less than 30 days before departure: payments made after the deposit are fully non-refundable and cannot be applied as credit.

  • Credits issued for canceled trips are valid for one year from the date of issue and must be used, with travel completed, within that period unless Nomadz approves an extension in writing.

If Nomadz must reschedule or cancel

If a trip is disrupted by government restrictions, severe weather, global emergencies, or similar events outside ordinary planning control, Nomadz will offer a practical alternative instead of leaving you without options.

  • Move your booking to a different date or destination at no extra Nomadz planning fee.

  • Receive a travel credit equal to the full amount paid, usable toward a future Nomadz trip.

  • When possible, receive notice at least two months in advance if a trip appears likely to be impacted.

We strongly recommend travel insurance that covers medical emergencies, trip cancellation, luggage disruption, and transportation interruptions. Insurance is the best protection against costs that fall outside supplier recovery windows.
